At Haveli, we emphasize quality, freshly cooked food prepared to order, using healthy, low fat methods of virtually grease-less cooking in the centuries of old Clay Oven (Tandoor) and the Indian Wok (karhai). Freshest ingredients are used to create harmony of subtle flavors, tastes and colors. There is something so very satisfying about Indian cookery, more so when it is freshly cooked. Meet The Chef

Who prepares all the deliciousness behind the scenes? Meet the head chef of Haveli cuisine, Gurpal Singh. Gurpal came overseas in 1988 from his hometown of Punjab in India, and along with him came his talent and passion for great tasting food. He has worked as a chef from the most happening NYC joints to local family owned restaurants. He opened a restaurant with his business partners “Namaste” which tragically burned down within only few months of being open. But from its ashes, with his desire to persevere and bring delectable taste to the table, Haveli Indian Cuisine was reborn.
